We all love to ride our bikes, and who doesn’t? As much as we would love to ride as much as the pros do, especially if we got paid, but over training can create serious problems if ignored. Don’t ignore the symptoms. More gains are made on rest days than on training days, even if Andrew doesn’t like those facts. Combine some of the stretching we discussed in episode 12 with a rest day to be sure you get the recovery you need to hammer it on your next ride.
Nick’s goal is to get a reaction out of Andrew with each of his dream bikes. The Rodeo Labs Traildonkey did exactly that. We discussed both the Traildonkey 2.1 and the Traildonkey 3.1. They come as framesets and not full builds, but they got a reaction out of Andrew and that is what the dream bike portion is all about.
