Let’s Get Rolling!

December 22, 2020

In our first episode, we talk about what 53/39 is. In common cycling terms, 53/39 is referred to as “standard” gearing for road cranksets, and most mechanics or experienced cyclists will understand that if you say you have a “standard crankset”, you have a 53/39. Andrew happens to be a fan of the 53/39 setup so in honor of that we name the podcast 53/39. Something about the fact he likes to hammer.

The goal of our podcast is to provide information to all types of cyclists to help them along on their journey.

Every two weeks we will discuss, advice, topics, gear and pick a dream bike.

In our first episode we discuss:

  • What is 53/39?
  • Provide a little background on the hosts
  • Discuss Cadence and how to shift up a hill

We also review the Cygolite Metro Plus and Wahoo Element Bolt.
